SPHS Extended Learning Through Alternative Education (ELTAE)
ELTAE is an after school credit recovery program available to all LAUSD students (not just SPHS students). Students can take courses that satisfy A-G requirements as well as other courses needed to graduate.
To attend ELTAE, students must have a referral from their high school counselor.
Why enroll in ELTAE?
ELTAE offers students an opportunity, after the regular school day, to take required coursework needed to graduate.
ELTAE offers students an individual learning plan to assist them in reaching their goals. All courses are taught by highly qualified credentialed teachers.
Continuous enrollment allows students to enroll and begin a course anytime during the school year. And, once a course is complete, students can move on to additional classes if needed.
Students who are committed to the program, attend regularly, and complete work regularly, finish their classes in a timely manner.
The following A-G courses are offered through the ELTAE Program:
Other Required Courses, including E. (LOTE), F. (Visual Performing Art), and Health may be available as needed.
